Who we are

Steyne Automations is run by Ben Frost and based in Worthing, West Sussex. We are responsible for the personal information you share with us through this website. You can contact us at hello@steyneautomations.co.uk or on 07494 650138.

What we collect

When you send an enquiry through our contact form, we collect:

• your name and business name
• your email address and phone number
• the automation you're interested in and anything else you choose to tell us

If you email or call us directly, we keep a record of that conversation.

How we use it

We use your details only to reply to your enquiry, arrange a call, and, if you decide to work with us, to provide our services. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, and taking steps at your request before entering into a contract. We don't sell your information or use it for marketing without your permission.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of trusted services to run this website and our business:

• Formspree, which processes contact form submissions and forwards them to our inbox. Formspree is based in the United States, so your data may be transferred outside the UK under appropriate safeguards.
• Microsoft 365, which hosts our business email.
• Cloudflare, which hosts this website. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies or tracking you across other sites.

How long we keep it

If you don't go on to work with us, we delete your enquiry after 12 months. If you become a client, we keep your details for as long as we work together and for up to six years afterwards for legal and accounting purposes.

Your rights

You have the right to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, and to ask us to correct it, delete it, or stop using it. To do any of these, email hello@steyneautomations.co.uk and we'll respond within one month.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
